Inversion Immersion
In this immersion we will bathe the head with the energy of the heart by turning our whole system upside down. We will develop the key components and skills that make a structured base as a way to express creatively through our inversion practice.

First we focus on building confidence and stability, through strength and proprioception drills, enhancing your nervous system’s understanding and enjoyment of being upside down. Then we will develop further with partner work, finding our balance through the attention and compassion of another’s. Next we will work with props to learn to support ourselves on this invigorating journey. Finally, having moved the energy intensely from the root to the crown, we will finish with a strong pranayama and meditation. We can’t wait to see you upside down! 🙃

Asato Ma Sad Gamaya – Mantra of Light

Jyoti, spiritual light, is no ordinary thing.

Contact with jyoti is profoundly transformative.

The study of Spiritual Light is the development of wisdom.

In this class, Manorama will walk you through a well-known Veda mantra.

There’ll be chanting of the verse with an attention on how to pronounce it correctly.

Then we’ll turn to translation and meaning.

Finally, Manorama will share how you can bring this verse into your own practice and life.

Lecture
Join me for an inspiring lecture on Jyoti, the Sanskrit word for light.
We’ll delve into the symbolism of light in non-dual philosophy, its connection to us,
and how the ancient metaphors of light can help bring about an understanding
of the interdependence of animate and inanimate things and their essential oneness.

Devotion & One’s True Nature
Mantra to Lord Shiva

Lord Shiva is known as the source of Sanskrit.

In this Sanskrit verse, we’ll honor both Lord Shiva and the devotee who absorbs in the light of Shiva.

But what does that mean? And how and in what way is that relevant to you, and your practice?

How is devotion, a path to greater understanding?

In this class, Manorama will lead chanting of a Sanskrit verse honoring Lord Shiva.

Then she’ll look with you at the translation of the verse, and finally she’ll give commentary on the verse, so you can see how this verse may apply to the practice of absorbing in Jyoti, spiritual light.
